|
|
|
I have a Task with three identified Resources. I click on 'Email Team' and the email window's subject line is correct, but the Resources don't show up in the 'To' field. What am I missing?
Also, where can I change the company name that appears in the subject line to an acronym so that it doesn't take up so much of the subject line? I can't find that setting in Admin. |

Hi Neil,
Can you confirm the resources have email addresses set in their profiles?
Company name is set in config.php, we can't change this for hosted accounts. |

In the Project page of the task I'm referring to, when I click on 'Email Team', the Project Owner's email shows up in the 'To:' field.
In a Task page of that Project, that same Project Owner is a listed Resource, but her email does not show up when I click on 'Email Team'.
This leads me to another question - is there a way to not get system-generated automatic emails, yet still have one's email included when clicking on 'Email Team' if they're listed as a Resource? There's a big difference between the two. |

No, they're both bundled under Receiving Emails, we could customize for you of course.
I don't think the project owner is emailed with the task team email, the theory being that the sender will invariably be the project owner. |

| To clarify, how do I get certain people to show up in the To: field when clicking on 'Email Team' in both the Project and Task pages? |

| In task team, it will automatically include anyone who has been allocated to the task, in Project team, it will include anyone with access to the project _and_ allocated to its tasks. |
