Hi, Ben!
I must admit you are miracle man as you created something which is the closest to what I dream about project management soft (yet not 100% match). The rest, hopefully could be done with customisation...
I am pretty new to Copper, yet scanned all major forum discussions. I must miss something but my questions are:
1. Can I create subfolders in the File tab? I guess it would be convenient to everyone to have more systematisation in the file management. That would also be great to have user access management on folder / subfolder level.
2. In the Clients section, Files tab, can I have files, which are not project related (like any basic info not covered in the Clients profile you put)? I found that I could do this in the Files section, but again, then I should create folder for each client.
Using Enterprise trial, very likely to switch to you fully.
Finally, please, kindly advise me, whom shall I approach to discuss customisation for ourselves in more detail. I am dummy in programming, and all AJAX, PHP, etc. is Chinese for me...
Thanks a lot
PS. What I like the most is simplicity of your product. I know you have many request for new features, etc., but please, try to keep it as simple as possible, otherwise, myself (as well as many others) would try to find a substitute. Hopefully my questions / requests will not make Copper more sophisticated. |

No, just single folders within any task.

The clients tab just shows all files for any related projects. You can add a General File in the Files tab (available to anyone with access to the files tab) or add a special 'General' project for the client for storing non-project related files.

You can email us about customization, however we can only provide ballpark estimates until you become a license holder. Adding features without complexity is something we're pretty good at, and we rarely add something unless it is popularly requested and it fits within our own principled framework of what Copper is (or isn't!).
Thanks for the kind words. |

Thanks, Ben.
I'd appreciate if you could advise, if creating subfolders is within your list.
I will contact you / your team as soon as we finally purchase plan.
Thanks again .
