How to template or copy a project.
Many organizations have projects that are reoccurring with the same task list and to save time they'd like to create a template in to reduce the amount of time spent recreating each project.
Copper includes a ‘Copy’ function that allows you to copy a project across or within Clients. First create a project or identify an existing project you wish to use as a template and view the project from the Project tab. Click the ‘Copy’ button at the top, confirm the project name, start/end dates, and read/write access before hitting “Save”. Once you’ve saved this project, you can access it at any time and copy from it. You may even wish to create a Client "Template" and organize your project templates below that.
Creating new projects in Copper is easy. Start with a project from scratch or copy an existing project you’ve created to use as template. |

Do the resources for all the tasks and sub-tasks of a project get copied as well? Or will I have to re-address them after I've copied the project? |

| Given the resources would already be booked from the copied project this wouldn't be feasible, so no, whenever you copy or move an entire project you need to reallocate your resources. |
