Ben,
Is there going to be an option for Time Tracking in copper. We are currently using Corporate version.
We could really use a Time Tracker in which each employee loggins in and puts in how many hours they worked on a certain task.
I know we have timelines..but it doesnt really do what i want it to do..
example> webdesign mock client # 1 would like each designer to be able to login to that task and put in how many hours they worked on the mockup. |

This is inherent functionality in all our versions! Its called the Springboard
Any user who has been allocated to a task will see this task in their springboard and can log hours/comments directly to this task which in turn informs project timelines and timesheets automatically.

I am aware of the springboard.
but is there anyway to where it can show:
employee 1 finishs a task for client a.
employee 2 finishs a task for client a..
it totals it up.. and says 10 hrs completed for client A.
then it totals it for the week..
I saw a sample of this in basecamphq.com
under the time tracker. |

Yep, you can view the hours spent by project, client either via the project view, or via the reports view.
Basecamp by comparison is a little more basic in its execution I believe.
Check out the tour though if you're not sure how it all hangs together. |
