Hi--
I'm evaluating the Corporate version of Copper 2008 for use at our company.
One issue I've run into:
I have allocated a resource (Bob) to various tasks throughout three or four different projects.
I have added Bob as a resource to these tasks and committed his hours to each task via the "Resources" pane on the Task view.
As an admin user, I can see on the calendar that Bob has been committed to tasks on several days, and I can see how many hours he's committed on each day.
However, when I click on the "Resource" calendar tab, Bob's schedule is empty -- I don't see any hours blocked off for the tasks I've assigned to him.
I'm probably missing a step or doing something stupid...
How do I get a resource's committed hours to show up in the Resource calendar view?
Thanks. |

Further to my previous note:
If I log in as Bob and click on the "Resources" tab in the calendar, I can see my committed hours. Which is great.
However, when I'm logged in as an admin user, I can't see Bob's commitments on the Resources calendar (or anyone else's commitments). |

Can you please get in touch with your hosted/license details, and we'll look into it. support@copperproject.com
As a general rule if you're just allocating a user you won't see them in the resource calendar, its only when you start committing actual hours (e.g. Bob is allocated to XYZ, AND he will work 5 hours on wednesday) that you'll see the committed hours in the resource calendar. |
