Ben, Is there a way that we can customize a Message board in copper?
We have lots of emails that go between our clients and our designers for tasks and it would be so much easier if we could have a msg board so that we can have clients msg us their requests and our designers can each see eachothers comments rather than reading 20+ emails..
is this possible? I think basecamphq has this feature..was wondering when copper will have it.. this will actually make this program perfect. |

It's on the way, actually it has been in spec for two years now. The more the product is supported the more budget we have to add it, check out our Inner Circle program if you want to sponsor it for v4.0 release  |

I'd like to add to this and see two message boards. One for internal/subcontract, and one for client review. This would allow us to get client feedback, and would keep that separate from feedback we give out to subcontractors.
I'd also like a way to keep files, tasks and comments in the same place. Being able to upload an image and view it in the springboard, and place comments under it, would be a more useful arrangement for us.
Message boards would be the same. The ability to upload images and movie files and review them online would be a great feature. Currently you have to download files, but if we could view them inside a message board or related task it would add a lot to our collaborative work.

| It won't be a forum style message board, as that detracts from the core of Copper which is the user-generated task commentaries, however email message storage and a way to combine files/contacts/comments into tasks is definitely on the way. |
