| Hi - just wondering if this is a bug? We have a rather large list of 'resources', so when we allocate a resource to a task we need to scroll quite a way through to get the name we want. At the moment this works well, but if we want to find someone like 'James' if we hit the 'J' key on our keyboard (instead of scrolling), then select that name with our mouse it does not work - however if we do the same thing, but then hit the enter key (rather than our mouse) it works - It took us a while to actually work this out, so we're happy to go with it, I just thought it should be out there and that perhaps the code in the Flash file could be repaired at some stage. Cheers, Shamus. |

| Thanks Shamus, we'll look at that in our next dev effort, there are a couple of things I'd like to do to the resource allocator. |

This is probably posted somewhere, but it takes too long to add multiple resources. 80% of a speed increase would come from allowing multiple selections of more than one at a time, 20% from showing more than three at a time when scrolling.
This is an especially critical issue given that Resources are added to tasks, not Projects, and Projects with 20 Tasks and 4 Resources per Task would require 80 'select and submit' procedures - way too time intensive. |

Another option is to add your resources to a group and add that group Neil. Otherwise, as per above we're looking to enhance resource selection in the next release.
We used to allow multiple select, but going to the highly requested finite resourcing introduced the new method, which solves one issue and creates a whole new one! |
