| Apparently our staff can't do this. It'd be great if the calendar just showed the same tasks on the Calendar as on the Springboard. Just checking if this is not an option. The calendar seem so cluttered with entries such as when I entered time in, and other people's tasks. Also, where can I find an explanation of the symbols used in the Calendar? |

The user guide has information on how to use the calendar, we'll be refining this over the coming months. S and F mean Start and Finish, the Crate icon is for projects, the Egg icon is for Tasks.
The Springboard shows only your allocated tasks, whereas the Calendar shows allocated tasks, as well as any projects and project tasks you have access to. |

The biggest clutter culprit are the entries with the person icon. What's that? It's not in the guide (I know you're revising it), and the movie isn't loading (not that I want to watch it to find out either). No way to leave those out?
I started a related Feature Request topic on this. |

The People icon is where time is 'committed'. So you can allocate a user to a task (they can see it in springboard and calendar), but when you also commit or book their actual hours it appears in the calendar with the committed hours, and also in the Resource Timeline view.
We'll be adding further filters to the Calendar next version, as well as tweaking how events look in general. It is by _far_ the toughest view to design simply. |
