I must be missing something here. I am evaluating Copper and I love the simple interface. I really need to be able to copy a default project, with it's tasks. I used the copy feature - but the problem is, when I make the start date and end date for the new project, the tasks retain their original dates! Does this mean I have to then change every date on all the tasks everytime? Please say it isn't so!
Thanks! |

To move all task start/end dates, use the timeline view..
Drag the project to a new position, and all subsequent tasks update with the correct dates.
Look forward to having you on board! We're looking to really spread the word this year and get Copper to where it should be. |

I can copy a project.
However, we have several tasks that have the same subtasks and associated timelines. When I copy the task it doesn't carry over the 7-10 subtasks. Did I miss something?
Thanks. |

| Subtasks are not copied along with the task. |

| Any chance of being able to copy subtasks in projects in an upcoming version? |

You can copy/move individual tasks, or copy a whole project and delete unwanted tasks.
But there are no plans for copying tasks that include subtasks.
Via customization would be your best bet if this was an imperative feature for you. |
