The invoice pdf template that comes with copper has a nice default layout, but i would like to make visual changes.
If I try opening it with Acrobat 6 Professional I don't seem to be able to edit text, the whole invoice seems to be one big object, is it possible to get an editable template or do i need a newer version of acrobat to edit this pdf? |

| The invoice template was created in Photoshop, and in the admin section you can download it, make changes and upload the new version. |

thanks for you quick reply ben, we are using the self-hosted copper enterprise 2008 version and i don't see any anything in the admin section.
If i open the pdf in photoshop cs2 it opens as one layer, is there a multilayered version or psd source available? |

If you have the latest version (3535) we recently added the ability to upload the Invoice/Quote/Header graphic to the Admin section (found here in our Enterprise demo: http://enterprise.copperhub.com/index.php?module=administration)
Next to the Invoice PDF there is a 'Download' link which allows you to download the source PSD file. If not, get in touch and we'll send it to you. |

Hi
I have downloaded the PSD files from the site via the admin link, made a few random changes in the file (for testing), saved as a PDF, then uploaded via project admin.
I then tried a series of quotes in the system, and tried to print them - unfortunately the generation of the invoice seems to crash every time
Is there anything I am missing? |

| Taking a guess here but how big was the PDF? If its too big you're probably experiencing timeouts or something. |

| I think the original quote.pdf is 200k, try to stick with that. |
