In the timeline view - When I add a task it always adds a the bottom.
It would be great if I was selected on a task that it added it immediately below the highlighted task. Otherwise with an open project that is requiring more tasks to be added, particularly as a sub-task takes considerable time to drag it up.... and can't drag it into a sub-task group. |

Thanks Mark, the flash timeline is a complicated bit of coding and we're hoping to mature it in a future release.
Firstly, we'll enable you to select a line and add a task just under the selection (and match its hierarchical level). I'm not sure if scrolling is feasible (every bit of functionality added slows the load time) but we'll investigate.
Finally, you can drag a new task to just underneath a subtask set, and click the right arrow to indent it 'into' the subtask set.
Hope this helps! I combined your posts into one here. |
