| Currently, task notifications include the task name, comment, poster, and a link. How can it also show the client and project name? Unless we make descriptive (and redundant) task names, it's hard to know which project each comment applies to from the email. |

| i'd still like to know how i could make the email updates more descriptive- namely by displaying the project name, and maybe client name. |

At the moment the email notifications for Corp/Ent are held in the language file, so you can modify them if you have a license. Get in touch if you'd like us to make some modifications for you.
Otherwise, we'll look at it again next update. |

| i noticed that since updating Copper to 3.535, the project name is appended to the subject line and prepended to the task name in the body of task update notifications. Thanks! |

It would still be nice to have the Project Name, Client, Progress and any ISSUES (with a highlighted subject line) and bill separate details.
Project Name and Client would have the most benefit to me. |

| It would be nice is the "Task Reminder Notification" emails also had the task title added to the email Subject |

We had these same issues and ended up customising copper to include all of this information and more.
We changed the format of the email to HTML, added things like highlighting when task or project time was near to or over estimated time. Also we changed it so that you don't get emails about updates you have made yourself - ie a task update to yourself seemed kind of pointless (it still informs everyone else though) |

| Wow - that's the type of customisation I want. Being the Manager I get a heap of emails twice. One for being the task owner and another when I'm a resource. Simple stuff this like should be in the core. |

oh yeah we also did that too, changed the code so that it monitors who it has just sent an email update to, so that it doesn't send essentially the same email multiple times.
Basically everyone in our team was being inundated with emails from copper - and then they started ignoring them, so it was critical that we cut down the frequency of emails to what was really important. We also changed when emails were marked as 'critical' to help us better distinguish them.
now everyone finds copper emails great, they deliver exactly the info we need, when we need it. Just needed a bit of customization to better suit our workflow. |

That's exactly what we need - most of our developers quickly set-up mail rules to auto-delete the emails (defeats the purpose of the emails all-together).
I would really appreciate it if you could make public the changes you made so we could do the same. |

| unfortunately I don't have the time required to detail exactly the lines of code added, and I would need to be careful i did not post any segments of copper code itself. |
