i would like for there to be no links that end in an "Error:
You do not have permission to access this module" message.
Example: for one user i have the Springboard module available (write), as well as one project - that's it. When they click on a task allocated to them in the springboard, they see "Project", "Timeline", "Files", and "Contacts" tabs that, because of their permissions status, only return that error.
It seems as though it would be simple enough to hide those tabs for users who don't have permission to use them. Using CP Corporate 2006. |

We'll be looking at restructuring the codebase in the coming months, however for now the permissions system is doing its job its just allowing users to see the curtain rather than what's behind it
Thanks,
Ben. |

i really like how the Projects view works in Corporate 2008. However, the same problem applies.
Example: if a user has access to a project but not a client, shouldn't the client's name not be linked, given that it only links to a page that says the user doesn't have sufficient permission? |

| I guess on the one hand Copper is doing its job (i.e. not letting those see what's behind the curtain) and in some cases that can be helpful but I agree removing links to things people don't have access to (even if ultimately they can't see them) is a good idea. Thanks. |
