| Can i ask for a feature request to be able to asaign a group to tasks rather than keep adding individuals, this would make it easy to add multiple users in a group to many tasks in a project rather than adding them all lots of times |

Noted.
Is anyone else keen on this change? |

Absolutely...this would provide a huge benefit, as we often have multiple members of our creative team needing to work on a single task (e.g. 3 design comps for the same project) - as long as they are each able to mark that task at 100% when they are done, and have it removed from their personal Springboard view only. Currently, if you have 2 people assigned to a task, and one marks it 100% because they are done with their piece, it is removed from both user's Springboards (hence the need to assign the same task twice - so they can both log time for it
Thanks,

Hi Jason,
In this scenario though the last designer would need to set the task to 100% so I'd imagine it might be a chore if there were orphaned tasks to find the designer who didn't set it to 100% (rather than just being able to set it to 100% yourself to complete it).
This also wouldn't be available for the Enterprise edition, where you can allocate finite hours. The Corporate/Standard versions aren't "calendar aware" so we could look at adding this for these versions. For Enterprise, the option would be to use a task hierarchy, whereby each designer would indeed get their own task to check off.
Let me know what you think. |
