Setting a default view for Tasks, extending Timeline, in Feature Requests

Right now there's one way to change this - reordering via drag and drop in the project's Timeline.

It would be great if there was a way to change the default view in Tasks using two options:

1. 'Set as default view'. Whatever way you sorted your tasks (ie by most immediate deadline) is what is then displayed. This would be great for the Springboard as well!

2. 'Move completed tasks to end'. Whatever tasks are completed then don't have to show up at the top, but at the bottom instead (within the defined sort order). There is just very little reason for me to see completed tasks each day - I like that feeling of closure Smile

3. In Timeline, it'd be nice to have an option that says, 'Show all'. Otherwise, if I have more than 15 tasks, it takes me two steps to reorder one task from the top to the bottom.

Thanks Neil, all good options! I'm thinking along the lines of #1 whereby a user's view and sort options are maintained between logins.

I can see number two presenting some support issues ("Hey I sorted by date but theres tasks down the bottom") and number three would take some thought (we can't dynamically change the embedded flash object height without reloading the page).

But we'll keep working at it!

#2 is simply an option that goes along with #1. If the user checks it off in order to move completed tasks to the bottom, then they probably won't be asking why their completed tasks are at the bottom.

In most every to-do list widget and program out there, the completed tasks are either automatically removed or have the option of being hidden or moved elsewhere.

Understood on #3. Maybe just a longer window...

Sorry I should have added that completed tasks are removed from the users springboard, but not from the Project's tasks view.

I've added this as a candidate feature, and if the majority want the feature it will get added Smile Thanks again for the feedback.
