Hi,

This question has been asked before, but nobody seems to answer. So I'll try again. It seems that migrating copper to MS SQL would be a popular thing to do, so has anyone come up with a guide or something similar to do it? It would really eliminate a good amount of the head-scratching involved, especially since I will probably have to interface with a different schema as well. FWIW, I am using v2.1 Corporate.

Thanks in advance,
Mike Lucito

Hi Mike,

I don't know of anyone who has written the db layer for MS SQL, although we did look at this as a candidate for a previous release (without enough support to warrant it).

I'll throw it out there again now, who wants to see multiple db layers added? Say MS SQL, PostgreSQL??

Otherwise, Mike we could customize this for you if you like.

Regards,
Ben.

YES! my vote is for a SQL Server db layer. All our other work is in SQL Server and that way we wouldn't have to learn MySql just for CopperProject.
