When I imported an MS Project file as an XML, the tasks are all allocate to the Administrator resource instead of the ones in the original file. I created the exact resource names in Copper and made them available before I imported the file.
What am I doing wrong? The other issue is the task numbers are coming in with 1, 1.1, 1.1.1, 1.1.2 instead of 1,2,3,4. Is there any way of controlling this. I suspect this is due to the fact that 1.1, 1.1.1, 1.1.2 are sub sets of 1. |

To begin with, there's no way for Copper to match your resources with the names in your Project file, so they won't be allocated. After import you can then allocate your resources according to their availability.
Secondly, task numbers will follow the indentation set in MS Project, so if you have 3 subtasks under the first task then they will import as 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 |
