Hi Ben

I set up a user called "andreww" (one of our client's) and have only enabled the following menus:

Springboard
Projects
Files

When you log in as this user "(andreww)", it still shows the calendar & reports icons.

Also, when the user goes to the Springboard, and selects "Mine", none of his allocated tasks appear. In oder for the tasks to appear, he needs to select "Owed or All".

Finally, if he selects "View Completed", only 1 of the 4 completed tasks appear.

If he selects "Outstanding", all tasks appear including the completed ones.

I am keen to get this to work as my Relationship Manager is demonstrating this to our client tomorrow morning.

Sorry, a bit short on time at the moment, but check out the tour at http://www.copperproject.com/tour.php my guess is your user is part of a group and groups perms override individual perms.

Good luck with your demo!

Hi Ben

Thanks for the groups priority tip. Have viewed the tour... but still no clarity as to why the Springboard Views do not behave for this user.

Not sure if this will help - but "andreww" must be assigned as a resourse for the task to have the responibility be listed in the "mine" springboard. I had a similar question http://www.copperproject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=664 about the differences and got this response:

Check out the tour at http://www.copperproject.com/tour.php particularly the Springboard movie.

Mine = Tasks I'm allocated to
Owed = Tasks allocated to others but where I'm the task owner
All = Both of these.

No defaults are available.

Hope this helps.

Note - please correct me if I am wrong.
