Hi Guys,
Hope you can help on this.
If you assign a resource to a task and then set the dates that you want them on it, there is a few bugs.
1. If you remove the resource without unsetting the dates, they stay set as busy, and even if you add them to the task again, you cannot change that.
2. If you change the time line so you need to move them to a week later, they stay set as busy on the orginal dates and you cannot change that even by moving the task back in time.
3. If you delete a task without unassigning them they stay assigned and it cannot be changed.
4. If you delete a project without unassigning them it cannot be changed.
Basically it means that if you assign someone to a task and mark out the days you want them to work on it, to change it you have to un mark all the times, and then remove them, instead of making sure it removes the times when its removing the task.
Is there any fixes for the above? I know that you may want FTP access but we are running on an internal server. I am quite happy to do the fixes my self (i will probably have to fix them myself anyway as its causing real problems) but a solution would be great.
And a few other things....
1. If you enter too much time, say 200 hours instead of 20 even if you go back and edit it, the budget stays as used.
2. If you change the budget, the amount used resets to zero
3. If someone marks them self as on holiday, it does not reduce there avlaiable hours and it does not mark it on resource view as a holiday.
4. If you are inside a task, and someone is uyn avaliable you cannot see what they are busy doing. For example, you might have a task for testing and a task for client support. You might assign someone to testing, and then when you goto support want to assign them to client support, however you cannot see what they are working on. Is this more of a feature request?
Thanks Guys.
P.S. Is there any info on adding a custom module? |
