I support a server for a client (Mac OS X 10.4.9) hosting Copper that, with a few exceptions, has run fairly smoothly once I got it up and running for the better part of a year.
Today, my client informed me that Copper was not functioning correctly. This is what I have found so far:
Users can login into Copper successfully
Users can browse around the calendar successfully
However:
Users cannot browse any active clients or projects
Users can click on the archive link and look at closed out projects and clients (I have no idea if this is a partial or complete list)
Clicking on the Files tab produces this error at the top of the page:
| Quote: |
Warning: mysql_query() [function.mysql-query]: Unable to save result set in /Library/WebServer/Copper/system/classes/dbpagedrecordset.php on line 26
|
So, it looks like the good folks at Copper will be taking the holidays off, good for them. (but 3 weeks of limited support? ) The rest of us will still have to keep working, including my client. Can anyone shed some light on this?
I'm a little out of my element here as I don't do a lot (read: none) of PHP or MySQL work, so I'm hoping someone can explain what's going on.
The server did have to be restarted this morning after Retrospect crashed and that's when the problems began. I've tried replacing the directory referenced in the error above with a copy from a previous backup and restarting the web server with no success.
TIA,
Shawn |

Email sent.
And yes, we're offering limited support for 3 weeks while we recharge, which means answers within a day or two not an hour |
