 We are testing the software and haven't recieved any email notifications of when a task/project is assigned to a user. We do get the reminders for a task that is due.
 How do we set it up so that a staffer gets emailed when a new task is assigned to them? |

Are you using the trial? I think we may have set _some_ notifications off by default in trial accounts.
To get it set up:
1. A user must have email notifications checked in their user profile (admin/users/edit user)
2. In admin the email notifications must be set on
3. Whenever you edit a task or upload a new file copper will send notifications to anyone who has been allocated to that related task. |

| Yes, we are using the trial version. If that feature isn't active in the trial then we're fine. As the other settings are active. Thanks. |

If we disable the staff's notifications for new task assignments, will the staff still get reminder emails that their task is due or past due?

If a new project is entered as "proposed" or "on-hold", and not listed as "in-progress" or "in-planning" do the task assigment notifications get emailed?
Seems to me they shouldn't until the project is truly activated. |

Hi dweller, project/task status does not affect email notifications. |
