| I'm having the same problem with Firefox, but I'm not using any download managers. Any attempt to download a file from a project's file listing results in an empty file being sent with the name of "index.php" |
When i click a file link, my browser opens a new tab and starts downloading the file. If i right-click the link, though, i get the index.php behavior you're talking about.
i wish we could right-click those links. It looks like Dennis' model would solve this.
i'm using Firefox 2 on XP. |

Copper doesn't allow for a right-click save as on the files, for the simple reason that we allow for full auditing of the file trail (who downloads/views/checks out, and when).
Dennis' model would certainly work, but it would also open up a security hole for spoofing filenames.
We'll look into it in future, but for now the file system is secure, quick, audited, and stable. |

We have no other registered complaints, and the online demos and all hosted accounts are working as far as we know (i.e. if they weren't we'd soon know about it!)
Which version are you running and can you get in touch? |
I can confirm that infact this is not the case. Our registered demo is behaving exactly as the complaints specify: right-clicking on a file name and selecting "Download this link" downloads "Index.php" every time.
Tested on Safari and Firefox, OS 10.4.10 and 10.5. |
