I see how a project can be duplicated by using the Copy button but I noticed that files are not copied over.

Am I doing something incorrect or is this not an aspect of the copy feature?

what limitations are there when using the copy feature?

That's correct, only the project and its tasks are copied over, not tasks, resources allocated.

is that in all versions?

what i was hoping to do was have a standard set of documents associated with the project so the team can begin immediately and not have to go outside copper project to then add in our typical documents.

we want to continually enhance the tasks to stay on top of our QA. every project has a standard set of documents /questionsaires, etc that it would be nice to have it come along when a "copy" happens.

has nobody else ever asked for that feature? or a project "template" aspect?

Yep thats in all versions.

You'd need to customize it to have it copy across all documents, to date no-one has asked for that feature so its not a high priority.
