I was just about to update a task that I was working on, when I noticed the drop down menu for "Contact Details".
What exactly does this do? Does this notify the client that a change has been made to the task?
Thanks! |

With that pulldown you can select a related contact (remember contacts are assigned to a client, so only the contacts relating to that project are shown), so that when you view the contact record you can see all of the comments that have related to them.
This is a fantastic way to review what has transpired for a contact across varying projects and forms the basis of the CRM component of Copper. (i.e. a contact report) |

| I'm not able to get this function to work. Comments related to contacts do not show up in a contact report. Any suggestions? |

| Get in touch with support and ensure you are running the latest version and everything is configured correctly. |

| This happened to me as well, I was getting hit and miss with contacts being selected in a comment showing up on contact report. It seems to work if it gets selected twice, but if it gets selected once and in a particular order which I did not identify it might not show up. |

| This is resolved and will be rolled out to hosted accounts today. Basically it would work from the springboard task comment, but when adding a comment from the actual task screen Copper wasn't recording the contact against the comment. This is only for Corporate/Enterprise accounts. |
