| I want to give clients access to be able to view their projects and post files, but I do not want them to have access to be able to see hours budgeted and hours spent. I would only want them to be able to see maybe % complete and timeline, in addition to files by project. |

The least amount of access you can give a user is to allocate them to a single task. In this instance when they log in they don't see project details, but will see the task details (so that they can review the description, budgeted hours, and contribute to the completion of the task).
You can obscure budgeting amounts, by denying the user access to the "budget" view (in system settings), however hours are integral to participation. |
